Environments with multiple code pages
In an application, not every component must have the same code page. Often components have different code pages. Sometimes every component has a different code page. Figure 2–5 shows a Russian application, where each component has a different code page. The figure also shows startup parameters, each of which tells OpenEdge the code page of the corresponding component.
